Classic car restoration in northern BC
Frame off and rolling builds. The car comes apart here, the work happens here, and it goes back together here.
What a build includes
Teardown, media blasting, structural and cosmetic metal work, epoxy primer, paint, engine and drivetrain swaps, reassembly and a final inspection. Every phase is broken out in a written estimate before it starts.
Where the hours go
Most of the hours in a build go into metal and paint prep long before any colour is sprayed. That is the part that decides whether the car is still straight twenty years from now.
Time and cost
Restorations usually run 800 to 1000 hours and full paint jobs 100 to 160 hours at $150 per hour plus materials. Metal work, paint prep and parts availability set the timeline, so expect months.
Who it is for
Owners in Smithers, Houston, Burns Lake, Hazelton, Terrace, Prince George and across Highway 16 who want one shop to handle the whole build. Enclosed transport is available if the car needs to get here.
